Robertshaw 330 Series Design

The original Robertshaw 330 Series thermostat became popular with performance enthusiasts because of its balanced-sleeve design. Unlike a conventional thermostat, the balanced-sleeve design is intended to reduce the effect of changing coolant pressure on thermostat operation, helping the thermostat respond more consistently to coolant temperature during changing engine RPM and coolant-flow conditions.
